A two-player abstract strategy game where you race into your opponent's home circles under the pressure of a shared neutral piece — the VEX.
Objective
Be the first to move your pieces into your opponent's home circles.
Your Turn
Each turn has two steps:
- Move one of your pieces (required).
- Move the VEX (optional; you may skip this step).
Moving Your Pieces
Click any of your pieces to see all valid moves highlighted on the board. This shows exactly where your piece can move.
First Move: Move your piece to any adjacent node.
After the First Move: Slide your piece along connected paths and stop on any open node shown.
You cannot move through blocked (magenta) nodes, other pieces, or the center node (pieces may stop at the center but cannot pass through it).
The VEX
Moving the VEX leaves a magenta wall behind.
Pieces cannot pass through or land on magenta nodes.
The wall disappears when the VEX moves again.
Capturing with the VEX
Regular VEX: Can capture enemy pieces, freezing them for 1 turn. Cannot capture on the center.
Supercharged VEX: Activated when you return a piece to your Home Circle. Can capture anywhere, including the center. Captured pieces are displaced to the farthest open node.
Scoring
A piece in your opponent's Home Circle is Scored.
Usually leave scored pieces there, but moving them can be strategic.
Quick Tips
- Sliding distance is player choice.
- Use the VEX to block opponents and control space.
- Experiment in 2-player mode to learn rules and strategies.
